Project Description

This landscape was nearly 60 years old when we were hired to do a much-needed upgrade.  We were given the challenge of creating beautiful landscaping using only drought-tolerant palms and plants since there is no irrigation on the property.  In order to achieve this, we utilized a combination of native, naturalized, and exotic plant species including Coconut Palms, Pitch Apple, Yellow Lantana, and the highly-endangered Cherry Palm from the Florida Keys.  We elected to use pine straw and crushed shell as the groundcover to give the property that “island look”.
